About NovEdu
NovEdu is a specialized educational platform designed exclusively for students who are enrolled in offline courses with their instructors. The Application serves as a digital extension of the traditional classroom experience, providing students with access to their instructor's online educational content, including video lectures, course materials, and examinations.
This is not a general-purpose educational platform. Access to course content is managed exclusively by instructors who enroll their offline students into their respective online courses.

1. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms of Service, the following definitions apply:
2. Eligibility
To use NovEdu, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:
2.1 Age Requirement
You must be at least sixteen (16) years of age to create an account and use the Application. By using NovEdu, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
2.2 Enrollment Requirement
You must be a student who is currently enrolled in an offline course with a registered Instructor. The Application is not available for general public use.
2.3 Accurate Information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
3. Account Registration
3.1 Account Creation
To access the Application, you must create an account using your mobile phone number. The registration process involves:
- Providing your mobile phone number
- Receiving and entering a One-Time Password (OTP) for verification
- Completing your profile information
- Waiting for your Instructor to enroll you in their course(s)
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- Not sharing your OTP codes with anyone
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
4. Single Device Policy
Device Restriction
To protect the security of your account and ensure fair access to educational content, NovEdu operates under a strict single device policy:
- Your account can only be active on one (1) device at a time
- Your account is linked to the device on which you first log in
- You cannot simultaneously access your account from multiple devices
- Attempting to access your account from unauthorized devices will be blocked
4.1 Changing Your Device
If you need to change your registered device (e.g., new phone, lost device, device damage), you must:
- Contact NovEdu Support via email
- Provide your registered mobile phone number and account details
- Explain the reason for the device change request
- Wait for our support team to verify your identity and process the request
4.2 Device Change Limitations
- Device change requests are subject to verification
- Frequent or suspicious device change requests may be subject to additional review
- We reserve the right to deny device change requests if we suspect fraudulent activity
4.3 Device Requirements
To ensure the security and integrity of the Application and its content, NovEdu requires the following device conditions:
- The Application cannot be used on emulators or virtual devices
- Developer options must be disabled on your device
- Rooted (Android) or jailbroken (iOS) devices are not permitted
If any of these conditions are detected, access to the Application will be denied. These measures are in place to protect educational content and prevent unauthorized access or distribution.
4.4 Security Features
Depending on the security settings configured by your Instructor, you may be required to:
- Biometric Authentication: Verify your identity using fingerprint or face recognition before accessing certain course content
- Headphone Connection: Connect headphones or earphones before playing video or audio content
These requirements are set by individual Instructors to protect their educational content. Failure to meet these requirements will prevent access to the protected content.
5. Course Enrollment
5.1 Instructor-Managed Enrollment
Course enrollment on NovEdu is managed exclusively by Instructors. Students cannot self-enroll in courses. The enrollment process works as follows:
- You enroll in an offline course with your Instructor
- You create an account on NovEdu
- Your Instructor registers you for the corresponding online course through their dashboard
- You gain access to the course content assigned by your Instructor
5.2 Course Access
Instructors manage courses and student enrollments through their dedicated dashboard. Through this dashboard:
- Course content becomes available once your Instructor completes your enrollment
- Course access duration is determined by your course enrollment period
- Your Instructor manages your course enrollment status as part of your educational program
5.3 Instructor Visibility
By enrolling in a course, you acknowledge and agree that your Instructor will have access to:
- Your video viewing progress and completion status
- Your examination results and scores
- Your overall learning progress
- Your course activity and engagement data
6. Use of the Service
6.1 Permitted Use
You may use NovEdu for the following purposes:
- Watching educational videos assigned by your Instructor
- Accessing course materials provided by your Instructor
- Tracking your learning progress
- Downloading permitted content for offline viewing on your registered device
6.2 User Responsibilities
As a user of NovEdu, you agree to:
- Use the Application only for legitimate educational purposes
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Respect the intellectual property rights of Instructors and content creators
- Maintain the security of your account
- Not interfere with the proper functioning of the Application
- Not attempt to access courses or content for which you are not enrolled
7. Educational Content
7.1 Content Ownership
All educational content provided through NovEdu, including videos, documents, images, and examination materials, is owned by the respective Instructors or content creators. You do not acquire any ownership rights to the content by accessing it through the Application.
7.2 Content License
Upon enrollment in a course, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:
- View the course content for personal educational purposes
- Download permitted content for offline viewing on your registered device only
7.3 Content Restrictions
You may NOT:
- Distribute, share, or transfer content to others
- Record, screenshot, or capture video or audio from the Application
- Remove any copyright or proprietary notices from content
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source materials
7.4 Offline Content
Some content may be available for offline viewing. Offline content:
- Is stored securely in the Application's internal cache and is not directly accessible through your device's file system
- Can only be viewed within the NovEdu Application
- May be automatically removed when your course access expires or when clearing the app cache
7.5 Audio Watermarking
To protect copyrighted educational content, NovEdu implements audio watermarking technology that periodically announces your name and student identifier during video playback. By using the Application, you acknowledge and consent to:
- Your identifying information being spoken aloud during content playback
- This information being audible through your device's audio output
- This measure being used to deter and trace unauthorized content distribution
If you record and distribute course content, the audio watermark will identify you as the source. Unauthorized distribution of watermarked content may result in account termination and potential legal action by the content owner (Instructor).
8. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
8.1 Account Violations
- Sharing your account credentials with others
- Creating multiple accounts
- Using another person's account
- Attempting to bypass the single device policy
- Providing false or misleading information
8.2 Content Violations
- Copying, recording, or distributing course content
- Sharing videos, materials, or exam questions with non-enrolled individuals
- Removing copyright notices or watermarks
8.3 Technical Violations
- Attempting to hack, exploit, or compromise the Application
- Reverse engineering or decompiling the Application
- Introducing malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Attempting to access unauthorized areas of the system
- Interfering with the Application's proper functioning
- Using automated scripts or bots
8.4 Academic Violations
- Impersonating another student
- Manipulating progress or completion data
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 Application Ownership
The NovEdu Application, including its design, features, functionality, and underlying technology, is owned by us and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Application.
9.2 Content Ownership
Educational content provided through the Application is owned by the respective Instructors or content creators. Instructors retain all intellectual property rights to their content.
9.3 Trademarks
The NovEdu name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are our trademarks. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.
9.4 Infringement Claims
If you believe that any content on NovEdu infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us with detailed information about the alleged infringement.
10. Account Suspension and Termination
10.1 Suspension
We may suspend your account temporarily if:
- We suspect a violation of these Terms of Service
- We detect suspicious or fraudulent activity
- Multiple unauthorized device access attempts are detected
- Your Instructor reports a concern about your account
- We need to investigate a complaint or issue
10.2 Termination
We may terminate your account permanently if:
- You violate these Terms of Service
- You engage in academic dishonesty
- You share or distribute copyrighted content
- You repeatedly attempt to bypass security measures
- You engage in any illegal activity
10.3 Effect of Termination
Upon account termination:
- Your access to all courses will be immediately revoked
- Any offline content will become inaccessible
10.4 Voluntary Termination
You may delete your account at any time through the Application's profile settings. Upon voluntary deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed from our servers.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. When we make changes:
- We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms
- We may notify you through the Application for significant changes
- Your continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms
